Fees and Capitation

Please check the website of your respective State association to find out the cost of your category of membership as it applies to your local club.

The bulk of the membership fee for any member category is split between the State and National bodies with a smaller amount going directly to your club.

Membership of CA enables participation in events conducted under the auspices of CA and its affiliate State associations.  Some restrictions apply depending on the licence category.  CA and States also administer accreditation schemes for coaches and officials.

State associations are primarily responsible for the facilitation of racing events. This includes the critical issue of negotiating with various authorities for access to roads and other facilities enabling the conduct of the sport.

CA manages the national member database and issues licences.  A significant responsibility of the national federation is to deliver the CA member insurance program, which includes Public Liability, Personal Accident and Professional Indemnity policies.
